Located in the foothills outside of Durango Colorado the Horse Gulch Residence draws from local Silver Mining structures scattered around the San Juan Mountains. The Horse Gulch residence is designed along its mountain ridge to capitilize on its distant views. The passive solar house is organized around a central living space that opens to a eastern terrace and dining deck off of the gourmet kicthen.
